Nutrition for the body you have

The same food, graded for the body you actually have

Generic scores treat everyone the same. Yemmi calibrates to your goals, your conditions, and what you are eating for, so a grade means something for you. Not the average shopper. You.

Graded for your goals
Steady on your blood sugar. Clear of what you avoid.
Your body isn't average

A single score is a stranger's average, handed to you

If you live with a condition or you are eating toward a real goal, one-score-for-everyone was never built for you. It was built for a person who does not exist.

An average, not you

The number on the shelf app is a middle point across millions of bodies. Your blood sugar, your gut, your goal, none of them are the middle.

Conflicting advice

One app cheers a food, another warns against it, a forum says the opposite. All of them are guessing at a body they never asked about.

Rules built for someone else

Generic "good" and "bad" lists ignore what you are managing. A food that is fine for most can be the exact one working against you.

The science of personalization

Most of how a food affects you is about you

Researchers fed the same meals to 800 people and watched their blood sugar. The response varied wildly from body to body. Most of the difference came down to the person, not the plate (Zeevi et al., Cell, 2015).

Two people, one identical meal, two different results. If the body decides most of the answer, then a food label that says the same thing to everyone is only telling part of the story. The missing part is you.

Same meal, two bodies

What spikes one person can barely move another. The food did not change. The body did.

Your profile does the work

Tell Yemmi what you are managing and what you avoid, and it grades against that instead of a stranger's average.

Why your grade is different

Same food. Different body. Different answer.

This is the whole idea. Two people can hold the exact same product and get two honest grades, because Yemmi is grading for the body in front of it, not for a shelf.

A
For your partner

Hits their protein goal, nothing they avoid, steady for how their body runs. Great pick.

C
For you

Same bar. More added sugar than your blood sugar wants, and a trigger you flagged. Not your best move.

One product. Two bodies. Two honest answers. Neither one is wrong.

How Yemmi calibrates

You set what matters. The grade follows.

It takes about a minute to tell Yemmi who it is grading for. From then on, every scan answers your question, not the average one.

1

Your goals

Steadier blood sugar, heart health, gut comfort, more energy, a training goal. Say what you are eating for and Yemmi weighs food against it.

2

Your conditions and allergens

The things you manage and the things you avoid. Yemmi checks every scan against your triggers before you ever read the label.

3

It recalibrates as you change

Your grades are tied to your profile. Update your goals or what you avoid, and the same foods regrade to match where you are now.

What you get

A food toolkit that knows who it is grading for

Personalized grades

Every food gets an A-to-F grade for your goals, conditions, and allergens, with a plain-English reason, not a mystery number.

Ingredient decode

The list on the back, read out in plain words. What each ingredient is, and which ones matter for the body you told Yemmi about.

Macros and 19 micros

Protein, carbs, and fat, plus 19 micronutrients, so you can see the gaps that generic tracking hides.

Smart Swap

When something grades low for you, Yemmi points to a better option in the same store and tells you exactly why it fits you better.

Allergen and trigger flags

Set the things you avoid once. Every scan is checked against them first, and anything unsafe for you is flagged in red.

Ask Yemmi

Log a meal by talking, or ask "is this okay for me?" and get an answer tuned to your profile, not a generic lecture.

Common questions

Before your first scan

How is this different from Yuka or a generic score?

Most scanners hand every shopper the same number. Yemmi grades the same food differently for different people, because the profile it grades against is yours. The bar that earns an A for your partner can earn a C for you, and both answers are honest. See the full comparison.

Can Yemmi account for my condition or goal?

You tell Yemmi what you are eating for, such as steadier blood sugar, heart health, more energy, gut comfort, or a training goal, plus anything you avoid. Yemmi weighs each food against that, so a grade reflects what matters for your body instead of a one-size number.

Does my grade change as my goals change?

Yes. Your grades are calibrated to the profile you set, so when your goals or the things you avoid change, the grades recalibrate to match. The same food can move up or down as what you are eating for shifts.

Is this medical advice?

No. Yemmi is for educational purposes only. It surfaces information about ingredients and patterns tuned to what you tell it, but it does not diagnose or treat, and it does not replace a healthcare professional. See our medical disclaimer.

Do I have to log everything for it to work?

No. Set your profile once, then scan a barcode, snap a meal, or search a food and the grade is already tuned to you. You can log a meal by talking if you want the tracking, but the personalized grade does not depend on it.

Is Yemmi free?

Yemmi is free to start, with no account required. A premium subscription adds unlimited scanning, the meal planner, and Smart Swap. Pricing is shown in the App Store.

Your body isn't average. Your grades shouldn't be either.

In about a minute, calibrate Yemmi to your goals and what you avoid, then see the same food graded for the body you actually have.
